The Comprehensive Weight Management Center was built in 2008 and since then it provides a comprehensive strategy for patients seeking either a healthy way to control body weight or to treat obesity. The center emphasizes the customized project and strategy to meet each patient’s condition in order to assist them to control their body weight and become healthier more efficiently.

Our services include: Minimally Invasive Metabolic and bariatric surgery, da Vinci Bariatric Surgery, internal medicine, sleep therapy, Behavior Adjustment Training, nutrition therapy, diet adjustment, and body curve sculpting, etc. We are the first integrated and comprehensive weight management center that provides an “All-in-one” service.

We integrate the resources from Taipei Medical University (TMU) and Taipei Medical University Hospital (TMUH) which include a professional medical team and excellent teaching and research environment. Plus, we are the top hospital managing weight loss among Asian countries and also the obesity prevention and research center.
In October, 2011, the “Obesity treatment and weight management division” was built to integrate multidisciplinary resources and to raise the quality of our procedures.
Achievements:

From 2007 to 2019, the mortality rate after the bariatric surgery in our center is 0%.
We are accredited to ICE accreditation in February, 2012; SNQ accreditation in December, 2012; SRC accreditation in February, 2015, etc.
